The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of adventurers who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, entering the secret base, striking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a secure base in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could enable the group reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can expect learning which players will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
